In 2017 I became the mom to a sassy little girl named Brielle. She is the inspiration for my small shop, although I very rarely can get her in a bow anymore. In 2018 we were in a serious car accident. This accident changed the course of my life to some extent. I used to be very involved in the local sports community, and coached high school basketball for over 15 years. After our accident I took up knitting and crocheting as a way to manage the anxiety and to distract me from my injuries. In 2019 I decided to list a few of the hats I had made on Facebook Marketplace and I started to get orders.
Our Name & Logo
The name of my shop came to me as I was driving home from the Shuswap, on a sunny Fall day. I could see my daughter in the rearview mirrors and she was covered in dirt. She had two sticks in her hand and her little ponytail had grass and a twig tucked in it. My logo was redesigned in 2021 by my sister. She worked hard to capture the essence of that Fall day. The two trees were included to show my daughter and I growing side by side. Part of our story is that we are a small family of two, and this logo seemed to capture our strength, love and growth.
Our handmade items are made with the highest quality products. I am constantly looking for new designs, materials and types of products to offer. All products are made by me.
